Stop trying to gamble. Just do the math.
Casinos are ripping you off. If you calculate the expected winnings for any casino game, it is negative. Using the laws of probability, we can analyze several situations, not just involving casinos. Today, we explored the concepts of conditional probability and expected value, then applied expected value to casino games like roulette.
