2020-21 Meeting 8: Voting Theory

It turns out that a fair voting system does not exist.



Voting seems like an easy concept. Just choose someone and the person who's more liked wins. But it turns out, all voting systems used today are actually flawed. We can prove this by deriving paradoxes for all of them, and Kenneth Arrow did this to earn a Nobel Prize in Economics.
